WHO:
&
Presented The 6th Annual Walk, Rock & Run
WHAT:
The Walk Rock & Run unifies communities across Northeast Ohio while raising awareness of diversity issues. The Center works to eradicate bias, bigotry and racism through education and training. Inside The Cleveland Clinic/The Reinberger Foundation Health & Wellness Pavilion, participants will take part in activities demonstrating how to live a healthier lifestyle. The day of the event, all participants gain free entry into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes Science Center and the Baseball Heritage Museum. Free mini bats will be given out at the Baseball Heritage Museum to the first 50 people under 12 years old.
WHY:
All proceeds from the Walk, Rock & Run go directly to The Diversity Center's youth diversity programs in nine Northeast Ohio counties where students explore their identities and beliefs. Students learn how to become positive change agents in their schools. The year-long curriculum involves in-school workshops and training sessions. In 2007, over 12,000 students participated in the educational programs.
Thank you to our generous sponsors!
