ACT
The Diversity Center is now in it's third year of the exciting and engaging program, ACT-- Action and Awareness for Change Teams. The Diversity Center is excited to offer this new program that will not only empower students with the skills and resources to serve as positive change agents for inclusion, but strengthen their proficiencies around schools' core curriculum guidelines.
The goal of the ACT Program is to provide concentrated services to 10 middle schools and 10 high schools during the year. The program includes:

Monthly meetings with each ACT group providing curriculum lessons around diversity issues. Topics will include issues relevant to The Diversity Center's mission -- race, age, gender, socio-economic, and ability

Curriculum lessons relevant to the Ohio Curriculum Standards

School participation in the scheduled retreats and conferences

Resources and teaching materials on The Diversity Center website to correlate with the specific issues of the month
