Since 1949, The Diversity Center has honored individuals of outstanding dedication and community service in our region with the Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner. Honorees exhibit an extensive record of involvement in civic, charitable, volunteer, and professional organizations. Each honoree has contributed to the improvement of human relations among diverse groups in Northeast Ohio.

The PwC LeadDIVERSITY Outstanding Alumni Award is also presented to the alumnus who embodies the mission of The Diversity Center. LeadDIVERSITY is a program in which a select group of professionals engage with regional leaders and the greater community to raise their awareness of diversity issues, build their leadership skills, and enhance their networks.

In addition to recognizing our distinguished honorees, The Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner is an important fundraiser that helps to underwrite School & Youth Programming throughout Northeast Ohio. The Diversity Center's School and Youth Programs empower thousands of youth and youth serving professionals through leadership programs and cultural competence workshops to build school environments that promote respect, acceptance, and inclusion. Students who participate in our programs learn how to become leaders and positive change agents in their schools and communities, helping us achieve our vision to create communities where all people are connected, respected, and valued.
