Celebrating the 64th Annual
Humanitarian Award Dinner
Wednesday, November 28, 2018
The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio works to eliminate bias, bigotry and racism. Each year, we recognize and honor individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to this mission through our annual Humanitarian Award Dinner. Our honorees exhibit an extensive record of involvement in civic, charitable, volunteer and professional organizations, and have contributed greatly to creating a welcoming and inclusive Northeast Ohio.
In addition to honoring outstanding humanitarians, the dinner is a major source of financial support for DCNEO School & Youth programming that empowers over 10,000 youth and youth serving professionals in nine counties across Northeast Ohio.
- Increase cultural competency, build leadership skills and create inclusive environments that foster learning and educational success for the 21st century.
- Develop a sense of self that encourages acceptance, inclusion and respect - helping to foster a mindset that "sees people for who they are, not what they are."
With over 91% of students reporting they were empowered to identify diversity challenges, we are creating change agents across our region.
To continue our transformative programming, The Diversity Center relies on generous funding from supporters like you.
